Could be “I had a born sinner begging me forgiveness”
Nigga tryna keep a abab rhyme scheme so bad like a dude like Kendrick really leans into that at all
Mmm that sounds like it could fit I can see it.
Also random thought cause he just posted a snippet of a new song but Kaycyy and Kendrick would be an elite collab
hella late to this but i think squabble up is a response to drake’s line about west coast fades on family matters
Kendricks 2024 run is proof that artist should take breaks when they need them
Imagine watching Kendrick struggle through 2019-2023 dropping uninspired s*** just to keep up
Is it bad that I like the bangers more than the softer songs?
Nah lol
Niggas tried to gaslight me but the bangers is fasho the best songs on this album!!!
Scru a grifter

Niggas really been conditioned to think dropping slop yearly is peak consistency. Nigga took a break and came back with his pen even sharper
Everytime Kendrick screams at the end of squabble up I think of that damn Luigi gif one of yall posted

Yeah I honestly don't think that was dot. You referring to the adlib when he enters that "ace boon coon from Westside to Senegal" pocket right?

Yeah, it feels like it was formerly a diss that he rewritten over and repurposed for the album. He left some lines in there though.
Someone from Kendrick’s camp ( I think DJ Hed) tweeted that Kendrick is going to lean more into west coast sounding albums on future projects like he did with GNX.
If that’s true I hope he gets in the studio with legends like DJ Quik. madlib, battle cat.

I don't really understand this because Good Kid and TPaB are heavily west coast sounding to me.

Nobody said TPAB or GKMC wasn’t west coast sounding, Im only talking about recent comments from DJ Hed.
He was saying that Kendrick plans on going further with the West Coast sound like he did with GNX

Yeah, I'm just talking about the general opinion out there that this is finally Kendrick embracing his west coast roots. I feel like he's been on that from the beginning.
“I put a square on his back like I’m Jack Dorsey”
Is still a random ass bar. That Cash App check gotta be crazy

To be fair, DAMN. was a break from the earlier projects (Mike Will Made It, Kid Capri drops, James Blake, etc) and MMABTS (Kodak interweaved throughout with features from Ghostface, Summer, Beth, and Sampha).
I don’t characterize Hed’s comments as those by more hip hop casuals who tend not to hear the dominant west coast sound S80 throughout TPAB or can’t remember past DAMN.
