idk why folks thought that. It always seemed to me like From 2015 onward Kendrick was just kinda overshadowing the label and it seemed like he reached a point where he wanted to do his own thing.

Now he got pGLang and TDE got a star in SZA and a rising star in Doechii

Imma be honest i think Drake and push up made them realize his crazy the split was looking.

When Drake mentioned Kendrick getting extorted through his splits and now you can’t run to top to patch it up as well as mentioning SZA having him wiped was done to drive a wedge and present like TDE didn’t have his back anymore. That mixed with Kendrick not appearing on blue lips, Hebert, and SOS (remember SZA said she wanted Kendrick on that album) made it seem like there was some friction there.

That’s why Kendrick made the conscious decision to say Top Dawgs name in Euphoria.

Basically saying I’m still locked in with my guys.

I also don’t think Drake was wrong about Kendrick splits. I think that suprised Kendrick on how Drake knew that and he realized how the situation was being viewed so he had to correct that image.
