SegaDreamFlashMy main gripe with other NYers is that we got the most to say about every other region's sound but we left our guys dead in the water either due to hate or some other s***.
When Kendrick & Rocky were coming up at the same time, LA embraced Kendrick while a lot of our OGs was hating on Rocky for not sounding like Dipset or some s*** lol
Yet at the same time our OGs and Gatekeepers wouldn't give Joey Badass and the beast coast niggas any play or motion because their "names" weren't big enough so they had to run to the internet to get love
After Pop Smoke got killed the Brooklyn drill scene just devolved into niggas doing Christian Bale's Batman voice while ignoring the other elements of what made Pop stand out.
And that's not even getting into niggas not acknowledging the lesser known acts like MIKE
