Getting sued for dissin a nigga is the most hiphop s*** ever drake just inadvertently made Kendrick the GOAT what a f***in idiot
Hed annoying with how cryptic he is but he deserves to be cocky with how this year played out lol I love how much solidarity there is in LA right now
Love the solidarity too but someone needs to humble him that s*** was so lame

Not even kidding this back and forth is one of the best things I've ever heard in music

I think the only one ahead of him is Jay but you have to keep in mind Jay has nearly 20 albums and is almost 20 yrs older than Kendrick so Kendrick will definitely surpass him.
One thing no one’s mentioned and sets Kendrick apart from everyone else is his live studio performance. Jay and Kanye ain't even close to him in this regard. Kendrick took it to a whole new level during TPAB performing songs like These Walls, UU3, Blue Faces etc.
Also Jay and Ye never really had a strong unforgettable "moment" that really shook the music industry like 50 Cent with In Da Club or Culture Vulture with garbage Hotline Bling. Kendrick’s got at least two maybe three iconic moments...his Control verse, the TPAB album and now the battle (NLU) with blackface Jimmy.
And that’s just one aspect of what makes him top 2.
1. Pulitzer Prize Winner
2. 17x Grammy Winner
3. 40x Bet HipHop Winner
4. Damn near perfect Discog
5. 3 Iconic Moments
6. Top notch studio performer
7. TPAB is recognized as one of the greatest albums ever made
8. GKMC has been ranked among the top 10 greatest albums ever.
9. At least 80+ amazing songs
10. One of the best when it comes to features with Cole the only one close.
11. He’s done all this in the span of 13 years.
There’s so much more I could add but I think this is enough. By the time he’s finished he’ll be the best to ever do it.

As I said yesterday, I think he’s the greatest of his generation but I’m not sure if I could consider him the GOAT myself tbh

I think a better comparison is comparing Kendrick’s year in 2024 to another rappers legendary year. Kenny in 2024 is comparable to Pac in 96, Em in 2002 and Wayne in 2007.

I like Joe Budden, he’s actually interesting to listen to but his co-hosts are f***ing annoying, I can’t listen to his pod because of them
For all the s*** I talk on Ak, I liked Everyday Struggle because they had an interesting dynamic going on and how they played off each other and I think Ak was a little more likable then
there ain’t no legends if my legend ends
Before me there was many
After me there will be none type energy
My mom heard the Luther sample and started singing the wrong song and said “you know I like that Kendrick Lamar guy allot”
My mom told me she was listening to Man At The Garden last night at like 2 in the morning n i was flabbergasted she really locked in

Not even kidding this back and forth is one of the best things I've ever heard in music
Love this part of the track so much. He gets in this pocket where it starts to sound like the heart pt 5 and I love it

If Kendrick gave a s*** about sales, he could’ve done over 500K for sure
He could have released a single / put NLU on the album. He could have promoted it for a week or two. But he dgaf
I hear y'all but on the pod he was joking

I’m really glad he didn’t put NLU on the album
