i had to think about this a decent amount but honestly i'd rate it that way. t i think GKMC is an essential rap project. like if i had to give albums i think best represent rap as a genre i'd say GKMC over TPAB. DAMN grew on me a lot - i think it's a flawed album but it's good for what it's trying to do and has some good highs. The last 3 are pretty hard to gauge honestly. I put SXN80 last only because it's very dated, and while it has nostalgia value to me it's objectively a product of the period of rap that spawned it. between GXN and MM i really don't know how i'd rank them; i probably need more time. i don't really think either album is as good as a whole in the same realm as the run of GKMC through DAMN. GXN has some of kendrick's best rapping maybe ever but also some of his worst tracks. i think MM is maybe at least more consistent
