The one good thing about AI in music is the ability to stem sample down to even the drums (you can hear artifacts on reincarnated, even though besides that they remade the entire beat on top of those classic johnny j drums) or the vocals of it.

the avenues there. there’s this crazy gating plugin called salt that can isolate drums damn near perfect. i’m sure it’d work better on cleaner recorded music obvi but the big thing in dsp right now is spectral compression so i can foresee a world where all that comes together and makes a nice stem ripper
