I’m still gonna give it to Ye but it’s him, Outkast and Kenny at this point for best discography in hip-hop
I think Ye and Dot comfortably clear OutKast and I love OutKast
One thing i will never really understand is how ppl read this era as him going back to his savior complex. I guess its just opinion tho
🐐🐐

like i look at this and see two amazing discogs that both explore the human condition in very nuanced yet genuine ways
but i also see like 3+ kanye albums that i'm taking over kendrick's best
I agree
Kanye’s 7th was TLOP so that’s still a pretty high bar to clear so we’ll see
After that Ye lost the classic touch
If Kendrick can push the streak to 8 he got it
Based off what I heard from GNX, Kenny's pen is still SHARP. As long as he has the proper creative direction, I don't think it's unreasonable for him to solidify the GOAT position in the 2020's
I’m still gonna give it to Ye but it’s him, Outkast and Kenny at this point for best discography in hip-hop
Tribe gotta be in this convo too tbh
i dont think i could put kendricks albums over kanyes first 5 but everything after mbdtf is fair game ngl
tpab like equal to mbdtf to me though
Alphonse being the only pitchfork writer that covers Kendrick f***ing sucks because he’s had terrible f***ing takes all year. F***ing get someone else to cover Kendrick, get it, he doesn’t f***ing like Kendrick
Dude literally said Kendrick is too self-serious and incapable of being funny.
Kanye has like 4 really bad albums. Kendrick has zero
when Kanye only had 7 albums he also had 0
idk the context just had to point that out
GNX made me appreciate 808s more lol
Dude literally said Kendrick is too self-serious and incapable of being funny.
In his most funniest album cycle ever
Man what the f***
Kanye has like 4 really bad albums. Kendrick has zero
Jesus Is King, Ye, Vultures 1 + 2
pitchfork 6 on a well praised rapper
you don't have to tell me who wrote that review... i already know
I feel like they’ve done this with a lot of their once critical darlings.
Hell, I’ll never get over the fact that they have Ver. 1.0 of Life of Pablo a 9. They legit were on Kanye’s D*** big time post MBDTF.
Jesus Is King, Ye, Vultures 1 + 2
I could include Ye too but included donda 2
I think Ye and Dot comfortably clear OutKast and I love OutKast
I mean…
Southernplay
ATLiens
Aquemini
Stankonia
Speakerboxx/The Love Below
Kanye has like 4 really bad albums. Kendrick has zero
They all came after his 7 album streak
everything before that would be considered great or classic even by the biggest hater
