when the album is mostly about his roots - from how most of the album he switches literally from LA and Bayarea sounds, styles, lingo n references back n forth - to the west only feats besides sza n no industry people - to the buick gnx a rpized car to CA especially back in the 2000s when kendrick grew up - to the tde and gloria song - while continuing off of his pop out concert purpose and NLU mash of styles and emphasis on the culture you are actually from
his most straight froward, from the town album

TheFaderMr. Morale is still the only Kendrick album for me that doesn’t feel like a Kendrick album whatsoever

Purple Hearts & Mr Morale didnt do it for me on that album too much even tho i still listened to Mr Morale a lot bc i like kendricks verses. Also I really dont think N95 really held up and Silent Hill is good but i dont think its a great song.
All of that is why Id probably rank Morale last out of his main 6 but its legit like an 8/10 for me, only song i really dont like is purple hearts b
now i dont get mr morale title track part cos i think that songs pretty incredible lmaoo
