Pissing your gf off because you played Hey Now 3 times in the car
You don't wanna breed resentment
I also don’t understand why an album not being relatable is a minus
Like I get that it would enhance the relationship built w the album but if everything was relatable then we’d never get really cool concept pieces or glances into other people’s unique worlds
i think most people want albums they can play in the background without really paying attention.
TPAB to me is kendrick's best album but I can see why people don't like it the most because they want music listening to be a secondary experience and not the primary attraction which is fine.
Same reason why people will rank movies 6/10 but rewatch them again and again instead of their favorite movies or movies they consider the best.
Kendrick and Ye are the gold standard for Quality
Wayne is the gold standard for quantity, between albums, tapes, and feats, he literally has the deepest catalog of all time
Lil B would like a word
When Pitchfork inevitably gives the album a 7.1 and Drake stans run with it.
(Which is gonna happen btw, they didn’t give squabble up BNT).

Pitchfork really chose to be opps
N95 is ass but ngl besides that I like the songs on mr morale where kendrick is trying for a hit
N95 always reminds def me KOD (the song) idk I didn’t really like it. Feel like all the potential singles on here blow it out of the water
Dope list tho. Earl is a legend lyrically but his delivery and overall style makes him below Rakim to me. Similar thing for Cube, legendary catalog and everything but his flow is primitive compared to Rakim and that matters to me
i love earl but his case is interesting to me because i feel like he kinda appeared fully formed
his styles definitively evolved but in a refining what was there kinda way and not a taking crazy left turns kind of way

i cannot relate to any of wtt yet i still love it
Ight let's hear your top 5 of all time and lemme know why it's not Lil B five times
FIGARO!!!

Ngl to you I only listened to KOD once in 2018 when it dropped
Ngl tho I feel like TPAB as a whole is still more digestible for the mainstream than Mr Morale as a whole despite MM’s attempt at bangers
Yeah it’s not quite as heavy because MM gets very very up close and uncomfortable with Kendrick’s therapy but TPAB is not appreciated by casuals the same way GKMC and DAMN are.

N95 isnt bad but is so weak compared to the hard songs on here
Euphoria was N95 perfected
N95 one of his best singles
n95 is good but i’m not a fan of “this s*** hard” over and over again
Lil B would like a word
We talking about greats who have an eligible skill level
Wayne is all time nice, like biggie nice with a Lil B amount of material
N95 isnt bad but is so weak compared to the hard songs on here
Euphoria was N95 perfected
Feel like Kendrick wasn’t really in the mood to make bangers during the Morale era and wanted to make more chill s*** instead
If he had the hardest songs from this album mashed with the emotional moments from Mr Morale somehow it’d be his best album
n95 is good but i’m not a fan of “this s*** hard” over and over again
nah this s*** hard
They should stream the album, drake literally promised he would do a lil bop to a kendrick west coast banger
at this point I guess im in for anything
