I think the type of song it is isolates some of those reddit type stans who dont wanna hear the lovey vibey s***

But he always been doing these kind of songs, Alien Girl being an early example

He wrote a whole simp track for Beyonce ffs

Yeah Kendrick always kept a song for the ladies and the vibes. On every project.

I always found it funny in an ironic way that he named an album Mr Morale (which is what you need to boost in people in order to energize them, as a leader) then the final mantra of the album is "I choose me, I'm sorry," which could be looked at as the opposite of boosting morale/inspiring folks, or him hoping that everyone follows suit.

Scratching Mamba made a great thread about the "confused internal politics" of Kendricks stance, because, who chose you in the first place my guy? But also, leaders aren't born, they are made, word to Vince Lombardi.

What’d he really go at Wayne for? Did Wayne really disrespect him over Super Bowl? I just saw him act disappointed that he didn’t get it. And for not congratulating him, do Wayne and Kendrick really even have a close relationship like that?

Mentioning Wayne isn’t “going at him”. Kendrick always looked up to Wayne and their relationship goes back to like 09. I think he has a right to feel however he feels. But it ain’t like he pulled another ‘like that’ off Wayne.

Only a matter of time. A few years from now drake will have either rebuilt enough confidence thru renewed success to re engage or will crash out due to frustration over his loss of success and basically feeling like he has nothing left to lose

Yup, he was dissing Push for 6 years straight after Adidon. He not moving on as much as some fans want him to
