Just as a song I really like it, I’m a big fan of this type of hip hop. The beat is ominous as f*** and really sets the tone of the message
As far as the actual message I’m in full agreement. Everyone been talking about the state the genre is in and it’s cool Kendrick is the first big name to acknowledge it (especially like this)

And 15 years later you have people making faux nuanced conversations about
“Well can Kendrick really be anti establishment and do the Super Bowl at the same time?”
It’s been a very human approach to music rather than being fake about either side of the personality spectrum
