Idk if I believe all these artist are trying to “survive” in the industry. I believe a lot of them sold themselves willingly to play a role I the “culture” being so back. On top of that of we also live in a world where a rapper could express everything you’ve explained and actively try to change and people including the artist will say “fuck allat boring s*** I’m tryna turn up”.
That would have me also as angry and cynical as some say Kendrick sounds on that record
