It isn't proof of s***. When he took a 6-month break in 2017, he returned with God's Plan and smashed every streaming record and ended up completely dominating that year like he'd been gone for years. CLB hasn't even been out for a year and there's already a clear hunger for new Drake music.

Here's another way to look at it: the fact that Drake never takes a break and is still the most dominant/successful rapper speaks to his power. The rap game can't survive him being away for 5 years.
