It’s actually a stage play, and did the biggest first week sales of any stage play soundtrack ever. Legendary.

I said it before and I'll say it again, the 223k that Drake did with DLDT as a surprise mixtape of leaks/demos that y'all clowned will HUMBLE. a lot of y'all and y'all's faves as more time passes and y'all see just how hard it is to hit those numbers in the current music climate. Just wait.
So far this decade, the only hip-hop albums that have debuted with bigger numbers are:
Drake — Certified Lover Boy: 613k
Juice WRLD — Legends Never Die: 497k (bundles)
Kanye West — Donda: 309k
Kendrick Lamar — Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers: 295.5k
Lil Uzi Vert — Eternal Atake: 288k
J. Cole — The Off-Season: 282k
Eminem — Music to Be Murdered By: 279k (bundles)
Pop Smoke — Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon: 251k (bundles)When you look at this list and realize that at least half the names on it will never do up to 223k ever again

He tried it again with the deluxe to MTBMB and it didn't do up to 100k. Uzi also isn't doing 200k again.

Jun 4, 2022·1 replyem probably would have done 200k with MTBMB without bundles, he only would have needed about 40k digital sales which is about what side B did. he'll need an actual rollout next time though because the surprise releases are worn out and can only hurt his numbers going forward.
