doja/roddy/gunna/laroi aren't good enough imo, they're all very casual ft artists & I don't think people are gonna look at a new album and be like "wow this has a laroi/roddy ft" and listen to it cause of that. maybe a little with doja
he needed travis/kanye/drake/lil baby/thug/uzi/ type features, i don't think its a coincidence that almost album with those plastered on them does really well
I have a theory that he did reach out to some hiphop artists but they probably gave him the run around or said no because a lot of people within the culture or hiphop feel he don’t really care or like hiphop he just uses it for success.
