But I don't think he flopped, he just sold what DAMN would have sold if there were no bundles. The problem is people not coming back to it.
And the thing about hits is you have to make one first. They're not guaranteed for anyone. Even w/ Ye I don't think Donda did well because of bangers, I think it did well because of promo.

I think what it was is that Knife Talk was supposed to be on SM2 and Mr. Right Now was gonna be on CLB, but they swapped.
He threw too much stuff on CLB. It would have been way better without the filler.
He also did all the promo when CLB was supposed to drop and none when it actually did years later.
