Kpop/Latin Music rise in sales shows the importance of streaming in allowing artists from all around the world to be played in the USA and it will only keep growing , in a pre-streaming world this would be almost impossible especially for Kpop (Latin Music would have it ‘easier’ thank to a big local latin community)
Not all around streaming is bad for sales of artists

Do you think in the next year or 2 billboard makes a physical purchase limited to 1 per a card?
Because on social media Taylor, harry, bts Stan’s brag about buying multiple copies.
Harry is not bigger than The Weeknd but his Stan’s buying 3-4 copies can fool people into thinking that.
