Nothing stupid about being interested in numbers and I've yet to see anyone say low numbers = low quality.

I have very little doubt the album will be amazing but how don't people get how much pure sales have died since DAMN. and how much streaming still hasn't been able to make up for the gap left as a result?

You clearly have an issue talking about numbers. How is one thread in a site filled with several sections and thousands of threads bringing down the overall quality of the site?
Also, this isn't a Drake appreciation sales thread. In case you missed it, there were people arguing about whether or not Doja Cat was a rapper for over 50 pages straight. We discussed Future's numbers for dozens of pages and did the same with Jack Harlow/Bad Bunny's numbers. All the Kendrick talk is only because Kendrick just dropped an album last week. The songs off it haven't even debuted on the Hot 100 yet and I'm still posting about the performance of Future/Bad Bunny/Jack Harlow's albums and will be doing the same for Kendrick. I've also been posting about the performance of Harry's album, as have other people. Drake's name will pop up from time to time but the discussions have been dominated by talks of the artists who recently released albums. I don't know why you're upset about that. You don't need to be in the thread if it irks you so much.
