c5 was wayne's first commercial release since IANAHB2 in 2013 and is highest streamed first week after Drake and it isn't even including YouTube.... next excuse.
Lol nah you’re missing the discussion here.
I’m not saying comeback automatically means failure, that’s clearly not the case and there’s plenty of examples to pick from. I’m saying over saturation is not the problem it was when people had to buy CDs every time you dropped lol. Which is better between the two, idk.
As far as the comebacks go - C5 is not a great example lol. C5 was a specifically awaited album that had a lot of controversy, and the Carter series always sold more than Wayne’s other albums (IANAHB1 to C4 is a much bigger sales jump than IANAHB2 to C5).
You could easily point to another comeback commercial misfire with Relapse - Em took 4 years off and went from 1.5 million first 10 days to 600k first week. On the positive side of comeback albums, Adele comes back after 4 year gap and does 3.5 million first week.
Nah but the predictions from HDD yesterday had Kendrick selling 286K, which is 4K less than Off-season's 282K. But Off Season had 12 tracks compared to Mr Morales 18
Bro, I know you been in this thread non stop for a week so why you lying. Cole sold 288k fw and everyone yesterday was clowning Kendrick for 286.
Lol in other words you’re just saying anything. If Game had a theme nobody would trip.
It was weird. That's what I'm saying.
He outsold Cole.
If Cole left and came back after 5 years, he’d sell 20k.
What are yall basing that off because people say the same about Drake and Ye but it really wouldn't flop like this

You do know that you can fact check your post by searching before you hit send, right? Cole sold 282K first week.

I see that with the Wikipedia but different sources saying 288k. Regardless, the people clowning Kendrick were rocking with the 288k number.

I see that, doesn’t change that people in this thread were rocking with the 288k number, so I guess it’s a double L then for them
I just finished playing it like 20 minutes ago. I saw someone in the thread say it’s Patrick Bateman music
Lmao that was just what Fantano said. But not in a negative way was just joking
