his album leaked a month earlier bro, the only reason it didnt matter was because his core fanbase doesnt even know how to download leaks
I think streaming has made people not care about pirating music anymore. I’d rather just wait tbh.
tyler and polo started this whole boxset thing anyways sony knows how to sell lol
Nobody trynna buy a Drake Vinyl
Vinyls are for mysterious music. They appeal to a certain crowd.
N95 isn’t #1 now
Morgan Wallen outpeaks most of Kendrick’s album
Post Malone gets a respectable debut (would’ve been top 20 without Kendrick)
Honest by Justin Bieber & Don Toliver is a complete failure
Bad Bunny doesn’t fall as hard as you think

The heart part 5 dropping down to #76!!!! after one week im dead

Well this was obvious. It was a promo single for the album, of course it wasn’t gonna have lasting power on the chart
the grip harry styles has on white women is crazy
women in general if we being real. they really be dictating sales and s*** dawg it's crazy
Anyway Harry might be making the blueprint on how to sell in this era
It was always common sense when Billboard changed the rules. I don’t know why no other artists have done this yet. Unless it’s because of Covid related production issues, which I can understand
i thought Auntie Diaries would be way higher🤔
with all the controversy surrounding it
Classic Midrick fans
Aside from being pretentious as hell and thinking they are superior just for listening to him, they bleed out of their a******s in a childlike fit of rage if you even consider saying that his albums aren’t 10/10, he won’t go platinum first week, etc. Pretty sad stuff!

It was his first solo release in over 4 years though, I would expect it to last a little bit longer than a week

“We talk casually about the industry and how the women be the tastemakers for the s*** we making”

I mean… not really considering:
1. It was a promo single with no radio / playlist pushing
2. The entire album dropped 4 days after it released
“We talk casually about the industry and how the women be the tastemakers for the s*** we making”
hm
maybe i need to become a s***symbol

post
if drake did this strategy of months of pre-orders, box sells, vinyls, etc he would probably get the closest we've seen anyone get to 1 million sps in forever
he could’ve easily gotten 1mil back in ‘18 if he did any bundle, he probably don’t care about all these tactics
So Drake got black women, Harry got white women and Bunny got the Latinas
And you got no women
It’s the top selling rap album of 2022, if you think 300k is bad there should be a discussion on here about hip hop not selling.
this post reeks of copium with false equivalencies
you can only compare Kendrick to other artists of his stature
but maybe he doesn’t belong in that tier anymore
And you got no women
Have probably gotten more p**** in the last month than you have your entire life stfu c***

People not really trying to hear about all that s*** as much as the media tries to shove it in our face tbh.
Album could have gone without both interludes, auntie diaries, and maybe two other tracks. People didn’t want controversy from Kendrick, they just wanted bars. It’s been 5 yrs. Disappearing for that amount of time also didn’t help at all.
It’s my fav Kendrick album, but just like Damn was the perfect storm for success, this album rollout and the 5 year hiatus was also the perfect storm for low sales. Doesn’t change the fact it’s still AOTY.
