If you count feature he probably has

He really hasn't. I'm only counting the songs available to stream on DSPs. Since the beef:
    Push Ups/Family Matters
    2 Camila Cabello features.
    2 Gordo features.
    1 Sexyy Red feature.
It's Up, Housekeeping Knows, No Face & Circadian Rhythm.
20 songs he's credited with on $$$4U (even though he actually appears on 19).
What Did I Miss, Which One, Doghouse.

    That's 33/34 songs.

If we’re counting songs on DSPs then only Taylor Made and THP6 are excluded which brings the total to 37.

37 is extremely close to 40

We’re really splitting hairs here. The point is that he’s been one of the most active rappers in the mainstream and nothing has stuck. That’s not without lack of trying.

Idk how anyone could deny or argue that point, he’s been extremely active over the past year and a half

That’s literally a lot of songs

Nobody else could drop 30 songs and be called inactive

Most of those songs weren't pushed. No song is sticking on the charts without being pushed at least on radio lmao. Out of those 34 songs, only about 5/6 of them were actually serviced to radio.

The only reason Luther even lasted as long as it did is because it got a massive pop radio push and that kept it steady on the charts even when its US streams died out.

F*** the chart s***, the songs made no noise regardless. They just flat out came and went. And they weren’t even good

Gropedivine ogre ass stays on her obsessed creepy level duck riding. Type of s*** that makes artists get restraining orders on psycho fans.

Who gives a f*** if Carti songs didn’t chart.

We like artists for their music, not how many lists we can update on 40 forums weekly. Just work those hours and maybe instead of d***riding on a creepy level you might see your favorite artists live with fire seats in multiple countries

This is overly dramatic lmao. Hip-hop will never die. With that being said, rap, as a genre, can very much be killed off on the mainstream level, which will snuff it out on every other level, which is what we're seeing happen right now.

Hip hop going back underground. Not mad at it tbh. I think commercials using so much 20 year old rap/rnb songs are also making them uncool to young people though, the way 60s/70s rock songs were used in 90s/00s commercials

According to who? People love $$$4U and it has sold and charted well since its release. People are still talking about it being one of the best albums of the year. People love WDIM/Which One, even Doghouse, which is dogshit to me, has people who genuinely f*** with it (go figure).

Did most of the songs have the same cultural impact Drake songs used to have at his peak? Absolutely not, but saying they made no noise at all isn't accurate. Now, you can say it didn't make any noise in the circles you engage with and that could totally be true. I wouldn't disagree with that because I could say the same about a lot of songs that are killing it on the charts currently.

And Drake dropped 50 songs and only 2 of them made noise

And one of them he basically karaoke'd on it lol

You always pivot to this when someone points out a Drake song or album that didn’t perform well commercially, yet you never extend this grace to any other artist when you call out their music for flopping

Both Future and Travis are on that same album a total of five separate times and none of those five songs were hit records

  • Drake dropped a shameless nostalgia bait pack (100gigs) with basically an EPs worth of songs

    They did nothing

He did a feature for Camila Cabello and basically ruined Sexy Redd's My Everything

    They did nothing

We're in the middle of a pretentious and poorly executed album rollout for his forthcoming album

    None of the music stuck

What are we doing here lol
