I've updated the OP for anyone who wants to know what days to look out for concerning album projections info.
Big 3 gotta get updated if we’re going off streams
Kid Laroi getting 5.4 million streams a day off a 2 year old album, got 5 billion total streams
Lil Nas X getting 5.6 million streams a day off Montero, 3.8 billion total streams
Doja at 8.2 million a day off Planet Her, 4.5 billion total streams
Then you got Drake at 4.6 million a day, 2.5 billion total streams off CLB
Right behind him you got Post, who is getting 3.9 million a day with 10 billion total off Hollywood’s Bleeding (albums 3 years old)
So the big 3 is officially Kid Laroi, Lil Nas X, and Doja Cat. Runner up position probably gonna be between Drake and Post. Realistically it’s Post’s spot though, Drake music doesn’t have the longevity that Post has. Post’s biggest albums wipe the floor with Drakes in terms of streams

When you got 2 drake stans arguing each other about doja

Funny how Kendrick stans have always said Future and Drake make "fast food music" but by the looks of the numbers Kendrick is the one who's making fast food
Post was a head scratcher at first cause doesn’t fast food sell more…then I realized “fast food” is a play on words with how fast it dropped down the charts lol
Niggas were ready to drop the address over a Doja Cat debate
Meanwhile let’s talk about how Harry Styles is already better than Bieber ever was

Journals and Purpose >>> everything Harry put out
Why you gotta be so grammatically correctly all the time. U treating KTT2 like it’s your 9-5
The big 3 are supposed to sell the most. Not just 300K or less.
I haven't liked Kendrick since GKMC, so I found the album boring and I'm not surprised it flopped.
But “the big three” was never based solely on sales/chart
But “the big three” was never based solely on sales/chart
It was absolutely based on them all having the combination of talent and commercial success/following
Can we go back to talking about kendrick flopping
Next week will be gut wrenching

No, but commercial success is a huge part of it, along with talent/skill.

It was a factor for sure, because music and release schedule wise they havent been aligning for a while.
So what is holding them up together at this point ? The commercial success gap between Drake and the rest is massive and the music wise they are on different lanes as well.
though its funny how kdot stans spent the last 5 years s***ting on whatever Drake was dropping only to cling to the big 3 association now.
imagine hating on niggas (drake/cole) but still want to be grouped with them for relevancy lol.
views sold a million first week, stop acting as if drake and them were close pre streaming. drake didnt have to "embrace" anything he was on top pre and post streaming, nothing changed.
and im only talking about first week album numbers, once you compare lifetime sales, singles and features its a wrap.
its like jada said during the versus, i mean what tf are w doin here

They know that even with all the acclaim and awards in the world, Kendrick can never make a claim to be the #1 guy in rap. That has always been Drake, regardless of how anyone feels about his music. He's on a never-before-seen run of dominance and now they understand Kendrick can't just pop up after an extended leave of absence and make bold claims about being the top dawg. Not when he's following those boasts with the kind of album he just released and not when Drake and J. Cole are out here outworking and outrapping him.
That's why they're clinging on to the Big 3 title now because without that, they know that Future and even Lil Baby are ahead of Kendrick right now in terms of cultural/commercial relevance and consistency. He's really lagged behind the last 5 years and this album did nothing to change that.
But the point still stands. Drake has always been ahead of them, even before streaming. The gap has always been wide between him and then. Did streaming widen it even more? Absolutely. But even without streaming, it was never close between Drake and them.
