She wasn’t even Top 5 in monthly listeners before this album dropped
She has the most dedicated and rabid fanbase in all of music full stop. I really do not believe that she has the most amount of individual fans. I do not buy that for a second

I never hear a song from her playing irl
I never hear anyone talk about her songs/albums
I don’t even hear her songs in tik toks or memes in general

Harry Potter is an immensely popular and beloved thing that a large amount of people know, not everyone, but those that do are so passionate and intense in their fandom for it that it feels like the entire world is tuned in even when they’re not
Spider Man is like Michael Jackson and Michael Jordan - ubiquitous
Harry Potter is like Taylor Swift and Wayne Gretzky - massively, immensely popular but not ubiquitous
