It’s the fans that come back over and over again for repeat listens. But you’re not gonna see an album do 300M+ in streams during its third week on because most people have already picked out their favorite tracks and are returning to those rather than replaying the entire album multiple times

Saying this in a year when the landscape of mainstream albums has been utterly dire is definitely a choice.
