If an artist that Drake doesn’t like does well then it’s botted. If Drake does well then it’s legit.
That’s unironically how they think
But.... but thats literally the truth
They wouldn't have issues reporting statistics if their stats wasn't so easy to to inflate. They push their monthly listeners and chart numbers as a measure for music consumption so the least they could do is be more responsible.
This shtick of reporting fake inflated numbers and then going back to quietly clean them up is very unethical
but the reporting is irrelevant except in earnings reports where numbers are shown through paid subscription/ad revenue etc. This s*** is just for entertainment and engagement for them and not a high priority whatsoever.
if spotify wants to stop sharing these numbers or better charge paid subscription for this data, its valid.
Outside of niche crowd engagement (myself included) , this s*** serves very little benefit.
@Kr0niic
week 41 global spotify
Her Loss 55th
GNX 69th
whats up bro? quiet now aren't you?

GNX is falling to FATD levels of irrelevancy, even with Kendrick twerking for the industry
Week 41 stats
They doing anything for a w atp

What you just said doesn't have anything to do with their numbers being easy to inflate and their numbers reporting being unethical. you're just typing to type

If it’s so unreliable then why do you yourself post Spotify numbers. Is it oochie Wally or is it one mic

I’m not making a point I’m asking a question.

You trying to. you're just being p**** about it

If you think Spotify is so unreliable and it’s so easy to game the streams then why do you post Spotify stats when they favor artists you like?
It’s a pretty basic question. Idk why you’re dodging it lol

its not easy to report though, daily reporting requires infrastructure costs which aren't justifiable.
I have worked with the biggest companies and simple s*** like updating databases and sharing it publicly with a front end at this scale can cost millions.
Playing with numbers is unethical yes, no one is disagreeing but spotify has no real incentive to prioritize publicly sharing the numbers daily be it ethical or unethical. This s*** is nice to have.
As a shareholder, I would want my financial numbers and subscriber count to be reported correctly, rest is just entertainment.

Not sure if you're being obtuse or not. If it was just entertainment, they wouldn't spend the millions they do to report those numbers. Their reporting serves as an advertisement for their service and artists.
Inflating the numbers makes spotify and certain artists look like they are popping more than in reality. If the public loses trust in the numbers being real, they lose a big part of their revenue and are then incentivized to make a course correction. This is capitalism. No company is doing all this for fun

If the costs weren't justifiable, they'd drop the charts. Clearly that isn't the case.
Anyways is new drake flopping or not
Surprised its not the topic of discussion
Flopping
Drake stans are quiet about it

its negligent, it creates engagement with niche crowd. If the charts are dropped, there will be minimal impact on the stock price which shows the true impact.

Drake stans lost trust in everyone’s numbers but drakes after the battle and there were no repercussions, Drake stans still die by streams regardless

He's implying that artists are out here botting numbers by millions for "niche engagement"

It’s really simple
Drakes streams = 100% legitimate
Everyone else’s streams = 100% botted and fake
