TheFaderOkay, I’ll ask you a simple question then.
Two songs release on the same day.
Song A debuts at #1, Song B debuts at #50.
In the second month, Song A has fallen to #50, and Song B steadily rises all the way to #20.
And by the end of the third month, Song A has fell all the way to #90, about to leave the chart, and Song B has climbed and peaked at #2.
If you were an artist, which of these songs would you rather was yours?
If I havent had a #1 yet then the #1. Because people have been dragged for not having a #1 even if they had huge #2s.

NOKIA officially departs the Hot 100 after 27 weeks. I was spot on when I said the song would be off the chart within six months. Also spent 14 less weeks on the chart than the flop single Timeless.
