It’s just more evidence that Drake’s back catalog is the primary reason for his strong daily stream numbers in 2025, like we’ve all been saying for years. Nobody is denying Take Care’s classic status, it’s not surprising that it’s getting a resurgence.
Younger listeners are discovering for the first time that Drake actually does have great music.
Also this literally happened with Weeknd in 2022 with Die For You after he dominated 2020 and 2021 with two singles. It started trending on its own out of nowhere, made it all the way to #6 on the Hot 100 before he dropped the Ariana remix
