The argument has nothing to do with the quality of her music. Bad rap is still rap. Doja makes great music but I would never call it rap music

it isn't even necessarily about the "quality" it's more so, the bar for hip hop music is so insanely low, but when it's other genres you niggas have the most pretentious standards known to mankind

since doja has a couple of pop hits, she has to release a madlib/alchemist tape to be considered a proper rapper? like it's just absolute nonsense

Amala, Hot Pink, and Planet Her are not rap albums in the same way that albums like The Pinkprint, Invasion of Privacy, Queen, and Good News are
