''All from Super Bowl week'' and clueless stans tried to deny its boost lol
Nobody said there wasn’t a Super Bowl boost. Y’all are the ones that questioned why his monthly listeners count dropped in the months following the Super Bowl

Here we go again, Fader trying to rewrite history because he realized he looks stupid as his prediction was wrong.
We all said Super Bowl stimmy was hitting, the stans denied it. We were proven to be correct - but frankly, that's not a prediction that required a lot of chart knowledge, anyone with a functioning brain could've told you that.

No. We called it abnormal for a Super Bowl boost because of how big it was compared to previous Super Bowl years. Nobody ever denied that the Super Bowl had an effect on his streaming numbers.
Y’ALL are the ones always rewriting history when we point out some s*** y’all said months ago that has been proven conclusively false, such as NOKIA being a worldwide hit

Nah this don’t sound right. You don’t got receipts either. Nobody would deny that the Super Bowl performance would boost streams

He’s talking when we were saying on here that the boost Kendrick got was abnormal, in that he was receiving a way bigger catalog boost than any SB performer in recent memory, and they pushed back on that saying it was a “normal boost”. Now he’s trying to reframe that like we were saying he didn’t receive a boost AT ALL, and nobody ever claimed that.
Any projections for the new Maroon 5 album? It's been wild witnessing their decline.
i don’t think they were an album band regardless but they’re going double ham sandwich probably
listened to snippets of the songs through spotify’s previews and adam levine’s vocals are so cooked lol
never doubt the power of disney adults cause i’m surprised the jonas brothers still sell that much
i bought into the nostalgia when they first got reunited and thought it was cute but that was years ago
one of the most boring groups out
@fader As someone that always talks about how longevity is so important, does that not diminish Kendrick's 2024? It has basically all fallen apart already. Drake's 2018 didn't. neither did Taylor's 2022 or Weeknd's 2020. What's up with that
In terms of people actually listening to the music it seems Kendrick's 2024 is quite far below all 3 of those. He just got talked about more, because of drama

How has it all fallen apart?
We are 9 months post-release of GNX. The album is still doing around 20K weekly, still has one of its songs on the Hot 100 at #13, and has two songs on the US Spotify Chart at #30 and #93 (plus Not Like Us is still at #90 but it’s not on the album).
Compared to all the albums you named at the same timeframe post-release:
Scorpion
Midnights
After Hours
I’m not really sure how GNX “fell apart” at the 9-month mark if you’re saying that these albums didn’t, especially when two of them have 10+ more songs than GNX does and the third one has one of the biggest singles ever released on it
Diss track, sounding like some fan mail

You just proved my point though, all those eras were doing much better
I actually think it's weird how fast GNX slid down the charts this year tbh, it's not like there's popular rap albums taking rap fans away either
golden has a chance to become the first song since kendrick's super bowl week to break 300 points. maybe the closest thing to a legitimate hit that 2025 has produced.

Nevertheless, f*** Morgan Wallen and Alex Warren...
Also, push through, Ravyn...

You are cap. I remember you Drake stans trying to say Luther was #1 because of a Superbowl boost in f***ing May (3 months after Superbowl) and other users were just telling you that no Superbowl boost has ever lasted that long. Nobody said there was no Superbowl boost at all

I just gave you numbers showing that all four albums were doing more or less similar achievements across the board 9 months post-release and somehow your response is “all those eras were doing much better”

Correct. He’s trying to spin it into something it was not

First of all, every time I bring up Global Spotify numbers y’all deflect and say this is a US based thread, so now you’re gonna bring up Global totals after I prove you wrong?
Second of all, you’re being completely disingenuous. You’re including their TOTAL songs on the chart, I’m specifically talking about the songs they had from THOSE ALBUMS still on the chart. Drake only had 3 Scorpion songs still there, Taylor only had 2 Midnights songs still there. Drake & Taylor both were dropping much more music during those album eras, so the extra songs you’re referring to are features and Taylor’s Versions songs. Kendrick has literally done a total of four features post-GNX, and one of them is still on the US chart.

He has a song from 2018 at #45 on the Global Spotify chart
Lead credits and features combined, Kendrick has released a total of 17 songs since May 2024, why are y’all acting like he’s dropping this flood of music that isn’t sticking on the charts?

His lack of music is exactly why his 2024 was nowhere near the size of those other eras though actually.
Also Mr Morale was only 2 years old, yet none of it was revived, yet taylor/drake had revivals of old albums
