Why would I wanna show your dumb ass anything?
So you’re talking out your ass. How would you know WO is playing at clubs or parties
lol alright
If billboard reported club / party numbers Drake would be number 1!
So you’re talking out your ass. How would you know WO is playing at clubs or parties
lol alright
You're an idiot for thinking I care about convincing you about anything lmao.
All the clubs and parties I went to this week didnt play Drake at all
This is the guy they're trying to convince you to have doomsday hysteria over. You really can't make this s*** up.
https://twitter.com/HipHopAllDayy/status/1945288668903526477Damn. If i hated Drake I’d create multiple accounts and spend all day on here trolling about him too after seeing these numbers. Makes sense now actually
I know they love talking about the charts and monthly Spotify streams at these parties
Just came from an Apple Music party
All the clubs and parties I went to this week didnt play Drake at all
Brother what clubs and parties are going to at 52
no s*** they aren’t playing Drake
WDIM/WO are going off in clubs and parties. Drake already got two hits earlier in the year with Nokia/SML. I promise you, the guy is fine. Just enjoy the music as we all await the release of Iceman. Y'all are gonna be alright, I promise
Somebody loves me isn’t a hit. It’s a moderately popular song
Dumbass quoted my post asking for proof like I made the post to convince anyone of anything to begin with
Don't believe any Drake songs will get played in clubs or parties this summer. That's fine. I believe the opposite. See how that works?
Just did a twitter search of which one club and not a single tweet in the past week of it being played at a club
xcancel.com/search?f=tweets&q=Which+one+club+Drake&since=&until=&near=
Need to tell the clubs and parties to play the songs a few more times then because its not helping the numbers at all
Damn. If i hated Drake I’d create multiple accounts and spend all day on here trolling about him too after seeing these numbers. Makes sense now actually
I don't know what's more hilarious. The fact that Kendrick fans are now the numbers-obsessed clowns they've claimed to hate all these years or the fact that people legitimately think a Drake loosie not debuting in the top 10 is an indication that his career is finished
A year ago.
https://twitter.com/HipHopAllDayy/status/1817305838060724291This gonna sound like cope, but lowkey we need a better metric to measure Spotify streams if we're going to use them to quantify an artist's current relevancy.
Maybe like average per track would be better because we all know and understand that the reason for such a gap is really because of the vast amount of music Drake has released with both his own music and features.
Also, Drake and Travis both dropped in July so
Another side of these numbers discussions that people ignore:
Kendrick currently has 8 projects available on streaming services for people to listen to. Drake has 15. That automatically makes his streaming numbers spread across a lot more songs so yes, multiple projects won't stream as well. Drake has also done dozens of features more than Kendrick has, songs that are all getting streamed daily.
Yet another view-point:
Billie Eilish has 78 total songs on Spotify available to stream. Kendrick has 267 songs in comparison. Billie Eilish's latest album dropped in May 2024, almost 15 months ago. Kendrick's latest album dropped about 8 months ago. He also had the massive boost he enjoyed for almost 4 months, courtesy of the Superbowl but still, despite having almost 200 less songs than Kendrick, Billie Eilish is currently out-streaming him daily on Spotify and has been doing so for several weeks now.
For the Kendrick fans who might think I'm picking on him, let's use Morgan Wallen, who has 158 songs on Spotify but Billie Eilish is also currently out-streaming daily. It's also important to note that while Kendrick and Morgan are currently on stadium tours, Billie is touring and playing to much smaller crowds in arenas.
You'll see people say stuff like "well, Drake is only out-streaming Kendrick because he has released more songs." Well, Taylor Swift has over 100 more songs than Drake on Spotify and he's out-streaming her as well.
I say all of that to say this: when it comes to Spotify numbers, specifically daily streams, it really just boils down to the amount of engagement your songs are getting. That's it. Bad Bunny has 271 songs on Spotify compared to Drake's 511 and yet, he's out-streaming Drake daily. An artist with 100 songs on Spotify could be getting 100M daily streams under the right conditions.
This gonna sound like cope, but lowkey we need a better metric to measure Spotify streams if we're going to use them to quantify an artist's current relevancy.

The two Drake songs dropped in July both flopped on Spotify. Now what?
If you can show me one video on your phone of you at a club / party with either of those songs playing in the past week I’ll Venmo you $50
0% chance of that happening. All this yapping is on the internet.

This is so petty

U sure?

https://twitter.com/HipHopAllDayy/status/1817305838060724291But I thought Spotify stats didn’t matter?

Now the pivot whenever a Drake song flops is “well, it’s being played at clubs!”
This guy used to be a chart topping superstar what happened man
