Their numbers aren't fugazi. They're the only source we have for album projections and they're always on-point. The takeaway from this is making forecasts based on no actual data is irresponsible on their part but then again, we're the ones who took it seriously. They probably just made those projections for the hell of it. They know the real tracking doesn't start till the album drops and you start getting sales/streams numbers.
