TheFaderIs it embarrassing? Absolutely.
Is it surprising when you take a step back and look at the context surrounding it? Not at all.
This is the eighth (yes, 8th) single he has dropped for this album since 2022:
- DMB (May 2022)
- S***tin’ Me (December 2022)
- Same Problems? (January 2023)
- RIOT (July 2023)
- HIGHJACK (August 2024)
- Taylor Swif (August 2024)
- Ruby Rosary (September 2024)
- pray4dagang (July 2025)
The album has been given multiple release windows, release dates, and even release events. Missed every single one of them. People are tired of the pump faking and refusing to check in until the album actually releases. Not to mention most of these singles have been kind of forgettable.
And on top of all of that, the new song is a slow, boring ass ballad (randomly released on the 4th of July for some reason, terrible song choice for the holiday) that isn’t memorable whatsoever.
It’s no shock that nobody gave a f*** about this single, but it has more to do with nobody caring about this rollout any more after endless delays rather than it is some statement about Rocky’s status right now.
It’s not like this was his comeback single after 8 years and nobody tuned in. People are just burnt out with this rollout
he just needs to do a collab with tyler the creator and release the album a week later

The less tracks thing literally means nothing. If there is less tracks but the same amount of listeners, they will run back the fewer tracks they have more and not dilute throughout lets say 25 songs. Its the same exact thing lol. Idk why people still run with that gimmick.

But if both albums were great then people would run those 25 tracks back more times in total than the one with less tracks. Unless you're admitting that there's some mid in those 25 tracks and perhaps that album isn't so great

It’s still impressive to note though. It’s like if two players score 40 points, but one took 35 shots to get it and the other only took 22

This is also true. Look at an album like DTMF by Bad Bunny. Has 17 tracks so it’s on the lengthier side, and it already has 5.7B streams after only being out for 7 months
Meanwhile For All The Dogs has 3.9B and it released almost two years ago
