Why does nobody know the origins of this song
It was a viral song on tiktok that she created like 5 years ago and she released it due to overwhelming popular demand
There was no machine or anything

I know the origins behind the song, that doesn’t really dispute anything in my post.

Her core fans that begged for the solo version are ultimately a relatively small amount of people within the general public. I just think for most part the public ain’t into the song. They checked it out when it initially dropped and didn’t care to revisit it even though it’s been shoved down our throats consistently on social media and radio by the powers that be.

I think the general consensus is that it’s a mediocre song but ppl are still excited to see what Doechii will do next and still have high hopes for her

No way niggas was in here hating on an old ass Doechii song not being a generational smash

S*** was wildly more successful than she ever thought it would be when she dropped it

Happy for doechii and can’t wait for whatever she does next

its her most successful song already so im not sure what you are talking about unless you just mean a lot of people clowning on it, which we all know doesn't actually matter in the grand scheme of things

Her most successful song lmao, what was her prior big hits she had to compete against? This is literally her first new song post breakthrough.

For a song that’s been mega viral on social media and is literally #1 on radio it should absolutely not be struggling to chart on Spotify & Apple Music that’s just being objective. For it to be doing so bad on streaming there is definitely some mid reception towards it overtime

i think you just have a personal problem with her thats why you put these lame expectations on her esp for a song which will probably be her most popular yet like shes a drake level artist or something. Second there was no "powers that be" for that song its probably the definition of having organic demand

  • Jun 6, 2025

Anything people don't like, anything people hate, they attribute to some mystical being "they" or "record labels" or "deep state" Its actually the most annoying trend in culture and politics last couple years and they r the hardest niggas to ever have a conversation with

I think you’re delusional as f*** and can’t come up with a proper explanation for the terrible streaming it has right now.

I have literally said MULTIPLE times that she is definitely having a legit big buzz moment right now and she probably will have a way bigger hit by the end of this year anyways if she comes with a solid song. I’ve given her props and can be objective.

I am not a fan of Anxiety and also the stats objectively are showing it’s not resonating in a strong way with the public after the initial release. That does not mean I personally have an issue with Doechii.

Take your Stan Twitter rotted brain on somewhere if you can’t distinguish that

    yes we've heard this before
"i like and im a fan of X, but heres why x is bad (Repeat everyday for hours on end)"
people in this thread have been nitpicking her numbers since before it came out anyways and ive always clocked it as a personal vendetta and byproduct of stan wars

She got a few bops and I’d actually be happy if they had an Anxiety moment.

So now where you going with this?

Anxiety is just a s*** song and the mediocre streaming from the public while it’s on every radio station & social media platform kinda shows there is some level of public rejection if we’re keeping it a buck

What was the first true hit in 2024? Yes, and? and CARNIVAL?

By this time last year, we had:

    • yes, and?
    • Texas Hold ‘Em
    • CARNIVAL
    • We Can’t Be Friends
    • Like That
    • Too Sweet
    • Not Like Us
    • I Had Some Help

These were just the #1s. There were also other hit songs that didn’t reach #1 before June, such as:

    • A Bar Song
    • Beautiful Things
    • Espresso
    • Million Dollar Baby
    • BIRDS OF A FEATHER
    • Good Luck, Babe!

And all of these songs saw varying levels of success while simultaneously competing with a few late 2024 hits that were still sticking around.

2025 has been a barren wasteland in comparison.

I know it sounds crazy but it feels almost spiritual like the universe is trying to send a message that it’s time for something new and exciting

I predicted in 2023 that 2024 would be the beginning of a reboot for not only hiphop but all this music s***. It has unfolded exactly like that. This is a down period before it goes full 1964/1982/1991

The charts are a mere reflection

Bad Bunny, Gaga, and kind of Drake saving this list.
