White girls love Tyler so I'm not surprised

His tour was honestly a super mixed bag, took my son, he actually liked it more than GNX

I think because it was a little more intimate and Tyler is more goofy

Prince has had a share of success and lukewarm performances in film/TV like most.

The Weeknd has only had disastrous failures thus far.

Prince did a total of two television roles in his entire lifetime. One was a guest appearance as himself in the Muppets. The second was a guest appearance as himself in New Girl.

Prince worked on a total of four narrative films in his entire lifetime. One was Purple Rain. The others were:

    • Under the Cherry Moon - Critically panned, won Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Actor, and Worst Original Song at the Razzies
    • Graffiti Bridge - Critically panned, holds an 18% on Rotten Tomatoes, was nominated for Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Actor, and Worst Screenplay at the Razzies
    • 3 Chains o’ Gold - Direct-to-video release that was also critically panned

Where is this “share of success and lukewarm performances” that you speak of?

Predicted to fall out the top 15 with a whole movie supporting it this week

Movies do not boost the performance of studio albums. I told you this last week.

    It is.

It’s really not. It’s just performing better than most in a time where everything is performing badly. The albums chart is a wasteland of mediocrity and failure right now, $$$4U is just closer to the top of the heap

You wrote all this nothing burger when Prince still has Purple Rain. A successful film or TV project, while tied to an album at that.

Hurry Up Tomorrow isn’t comparable despite its failed attempt to be.

The comparison between them on any level remains disrespectful.

A movie named after a studio album and including music from said studio album should absolutely provide a boost lmao.

The fact you keep trying to compare this disastrous blunder to Purple Rain is hilarious.

The equivalent of comparing Katy Perry’s last album to Mr Morale

Tbh the movie is his Honestly, Nevermind

Just a disastrous attempt at trying something creatively new, but is only liked by the superfans

If Drake drops it’ll be end of the year, or he’d miss the opportunity after the success of Nokia
Cole, idk really. He’s living in his meme but I just wish he’d release that album

$$$4U has been performing better than After Hours, which you both kept banging on about it being one of the biggest albums ever lol. Strange.

I never compared Hurry Up Tomorrow and Purple Rain

I said Prince has won Razzies, which he has

75% of Prince’s attempts at film were panned
