Asking again, so you believe that Zach Bryan had a bigger 2024 than Sabrina Carpenter?

Yes, Zach had three albums that were very popular throughout all 2024.
Most people would think the popstar would be bigger, but that's just bc she's just more visible in the media.

When it comes down to the music. Zach had a better year.

It's really just simple math. Can you do simple math?

    Sabrina: 1.55M
    Zach Bryan: 1.4M
    Zach Bryan (TGABS) : 754,000

It's okay to be wrong. We're discussing the bigger artist of 2024, not pop star.

Short n’ Sweet finished at 2.5M by year’s end. It was the third highest selling album of 2024.

  • May 6, 2025

If two albums drop within one month of each other and Album B, which came out a month afterwards, ends up doubling the total units sold of Album A, I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that the Album B Artist had the bigger year overall

Didn't mind the nlu wins, thought they were earned, but I'd pick Billie over one of the other pop girlies.

NLU deserved some Grammys but it didn't deserve 5.

How do you post everyday and not know the year-end lists end in October

And what are you trying to prove. Sabrina has one popular album in 2024, Zach had three.

I said Short n’ Sweet outsold every Zach Bryan album BY year’s end. I never said anything about a year-end list.

Both Sabrina and Zach dropped brand new albums in 2024 within one month of each other.

Zach dropped in July 2024 and sold 1.2M by year’s end.

Sabrina dropped in August 2024 and sold 2.5M by year’s end.

You didn't say album v album. He has more than one popular album. He had a bigger year than Sabrina in 2024. You're wrong again ctfu.

And again, if you genuinely believe that, you need your head examined.

Ask 100 people right now who had a bigger year in 2024 and I guarantee all 100 say Sabrina Carpenter

Having a bigger year is all perspective.

Example: Sabrina Carpenter scored 3 mega hit singles in 2024 and so she had a huge presence on the Hot 100 and the radio as a result. To the average listener, she was one of the biggest acts of 2024 and they're not wrong in that regard. Taylor Swift, on the other hand, didn't have any mega smash hits last year but moved a lot more album units and as a result, in terms of pure numbers, was a much bigger artist than Sabrina Carpenter in 2024.

Another example: Kendrick Lamar scored the biggest hit of his career in 2024 with Not Like Us. A song that dominated for most of the year and got played a lot on radio. To the average listener, he had a bigger year than Drake but from a purely numbers perspective, Drake pulled more streams and sold more album units and as a result, had a much bigger year than Kendrick. That's why Taylor Swift ranked as #1 and Drake ranked as #4 for Billboard Year-End Artist rankings.
