The issue is not what exactly they did. The issue is that there is virtually zero reason for an artist like Drake to be giving guys like these bigger platforms than they already have

So Drake needs to have moral compass of the people he hops on a stream with, but Post Malone doesn’t need to have any moral compass of the people he hops on a podcast with, does multiple collabs with, and deliberately rebrands himself to being associated with for new fans?

what was the reason for kendrick to pick kodak of all people? there are rappers that are victims of abuse, there are other rappers who have done bad things other than raping a teenager that could've been used.

i honestly agree with you about adin ross, you just took a mad left turn for no reason trying to equate gambling to rape.

I’m not equating gambling to rape, you’re getting caught up on the crime and not the association. I just said if the roles were reversed, I’d feel the exact same way.

If Drake did a song with gambler Adin Ross (if he was a musician), I wouldn’t care.

If Kendrick did a stream with alleged rapist DJ Akademiks, that would be weird.

i dont think theres a difference though, its the same thing. either way you're using your status and fame to promote someone who shouldnt deserve any promotion.

You’re assuming that all sexual assault victims would feel the same way about that. I can’t answer that question because I don’t know every single victim of sexual assault

Welcome to this thread. 80% of it revolves around fader riding delusional into the ground to defend whatever convenient stance he chooses today.

lets say you're not into rap at all, you just heard the headlines, which one is worse?

"artist has rapist all over his album and promotes said rapist"
    OR
"artist gambles live on stream with a degen streamer"

But one involves two people in the same field working on their same profession, and the other involves two people from different worlds and fields who are only collaborating to further both of their popularity

You’re getting way too caught up in the nature of the crime and that wasn’t my point at all

    whats the difference?

either way objectively they're bad people and you shouldn't work with them regardless

(inb4 you say some s*** about "well what about rappers and d**** or guns", not the same s*** as raping a teenager im sorry)

    Again, this is anti-art.

You’re acting like Kendrick and Kodak made a collab album about bullshit. He appears on the album twice to purposefully make a point around the concept of how generational trauma can cause cycles of abuse

lmao, okay thats fine! defending a rapist being on an album because its "art" makes me think you're a piece of s*** lowkey.

  • Apr 15, 2025

Fader really sat here and defended Post Malone working with straight up racists after all this daily whining about Drake being cool with MAGA niggas

Even if you think that, that’s fair.

But the argument you can make for Kendrick is that there was an artistic point to what he was trying to do, even if you don’t agree with it.

What is the purpose of Drake getting on a stream with Adin Ross?

what was the artistic point of having kodak that couldnt have been done with another artist?

was kodak on there to make some point about generational trauma leading to becoming a rapist or something?
