It's utterly insane that $$$4U, a collab album with PND in 2025, will sell more units than The Weeknd's final album come end of the year. That is not something that I expected

The mere fact that it's more successful is notable. Collab albums usually underperform and even moreso for collab R&B albums and this is Drake coming off a year where his public perception took a massive hit.
Still, he's able to bounce back with a smash hit single and an album that people have been bumping since it dropped. $$$4U is the only album so far this year that I go out and see people play multiple songs off of. It happened with Bad Bunny's album as well for about 2-3 weeks but since $$$4U dropped, that's all I hear wherever I go.
LOL at delusional Drake stans
We really went from “all Drake needs to do is sprinkle a few hits post NLU and everything goes back to normal” to “Imagine trying to act like a song being stable in the top 10..."
The legs on Die With a Smile are kinda nuts
Said it before, song is a timeless bop. Definitely deserving of all its success. I play it at least once a day.
all the way staying in the top ten is impressive, after country radio picks it up it’ll probably end up being one of the hits of the year

The Drake stimulus working for everybody but drake

Grown man
It’s nuts the Nokia video had a release date and all that hype just for absolutely nothing to happen with the song
We still blaming UMG or calling a spade a spade?
It just ain’t #1 material
These paid posts are hilarious…“Mega hit” lmao the song barely hit 150 million streams in 3 months.

It's clear that those Weeknd and Kendrick stans who are ruining the thread don't believe anything they type and just want to annoy people in this thread.
KTT should have an option where you can deny users access to post in specific threads. Literally no point in having them stinking up this thread when they don't even understand basic chart stuff
imagine a charts thread solely occupied by Drake stans
all the discussion would be truly objective
no agendas, just facts

I mean it was pretty apparent from the initial reaction to the video that the boost it gave to the song wasn’t gonna be for very long

Yeah for sure but that wasn’t the sentiment when it was announced
Another dud decision by OVO
kendrick really could’ve waited even longer to drop the music vid, even without it luther would’ve had a comfortable 15 point lead over DWAS

Would you say Luther has a good shot at 12 weeks at #1?

Better to drop it right before tour starts. Just seems like cleaner timing than waiting halfway through when we're already seeing clips of both of them performing the song

I do not give a damn about who people are fans of, that's not the issue. It's solely about the quality of their posts. There are 4-5 users who are spamming this thread with their bullshit posts that have no other intention than to steer the topic off course and have dumb arguments. Literally no point in letting those users have access to the thread

absolutely, especially with the tour starting next week. if it stays atop until morgan wallen’s album releases that’ll be 13 weeks

Yeah, this s*** is so annoying lol NOKIA isn't a "big" and "global" hit

I agree, Zack
ngl drake gonna get hard stuck #2 max
UMG not gonna hit that pop radio button and we’re about to hit a period of big artists dropping again in a few weeks
also nokia is only now slightly out steaming luther. every other aspect is wiped down + i suspect a video and maybe deluxe when the tour sparks up
at least the fans can finally have a true underdog narrative now. just enjoy a stable top 10 hit for now lmao
He'll always have his stadium tours and his staple hits that'll continue to rack up streams on Spotify but he's cooked commercially moving forward.
Two consecutive flop album eras will do that to ya.
He like speedran becoming a legacy act
