Also crazy when you remember that his album leaked a month ago. These numbers are insane.

They love to brag about Good kid m.A.A.d city being the longest charting hip-hop album in history but I don't understand why since the charts apparently means nothing to them and the charts do not prove anything according to them

  • May 21, 2022

I was wrong. Harry's last album did 108M US streams in it's first week. This album should easily double that at least. That's growth.

They have nothing to brag about.

    His first week sales flopped.
His pitchfork score was a 7.6
His metacritic score continues to drop
Anthony Fantano has been proven to be a hypocrite

They only love to brag about charts and numbers when Kendrick has the upper hand. Any other time, charts and numbers don't matter. They can be a very sad and pathetic bunch.

The only thing I see them talk about now is how its going to win Grammy's but watch how they call that rigged when Kendrick doesnt win

People were singing Future’s praises when he sold less.

Didn’t see one person say he flopped.

    People don’t keep it consistent.

The numbers are less then what most people thought but so was Adele’s and she did alright considering she still had the highest selling album of 2021 just like how Kendrick now has the highest selling album of 2022 so far.

I feel like people aren’t genuine in these threads and just use it as an opportunity to troll about any artist that isn’t their favourite.

Future the only artist who numbers went up in the streaming era. And i guess Ye did it but he went from 11 to 27 tracks which is important in streaming era

That's really different from all other rappers selling less than they used to tho. Not comparable imo. Ofc Fewtch will be praised for such an achievement

MMBS my fav album that dropped this year, his artistry is unmatched, but sales wise it's not doing well at all. This was expected to do 350k.

Don't worry, they'll give him his Grammys and hopefully he wins another Pulitzer so Kendrick fans don't cry.

Kendrick fans mad about Drake fans for celebrating anytime he does numbers when all signs point to them doing the same for every major Kendrick commercial achievement. If Kendrick dominated like Drake did, they'd never shut up about it as well.

I dont think Kendrick stans mad bout Drake stans celebrating his numbers. Think it's more cause yall make fun of Kendrick and this album while doing it. Saying an album is utter trash based on sales is nonsense

It's just that a lot of the stuff kendrick raps about turns very ironic now that hes flopped. Examples:

"I am the omega", "Smoking on top 5s"
