I was there when certain songs were running the entire summer all over the world in 2016 due to how catchy they were.

I was there to witness the 2018 run that probably won't be replicated by any hip hop artist ever simply because of how good the songs were

If it makes you happy that someone managed to reach his commercial peak because he became obsessed with the guy who has been dominating the music scene for 14 years with all the competitors desperate to knock him out of his throne, so be it. It was fun but it will forever be known as an assist from his name. The songs, the performances. He was the focus in all of them

I celebrate good music and achievements that have been reached because of your own hard work. Seeing someone reach the absolute top from his own hard work is amazing. Hope you will experience the same one day

one thing that has been made obvious during the beef, is that ​if kendrick hadn’t taken that hiatus after 2018, him and drake would’ve probably been trading that #1 and #2 spot for their entire careers

the only reason the gap seems HUUUUUGE is because he took that hiatus while drake never let his foot of the gas, and continued to run the numbers up. that’s my perspective

the iconic sample in nfw, all the marketing and hype of it, all the celeb cameos, it being a strong song anthem for women and the song is high budget in every aspect while being very calculated

Kendrick’s success and his Super Bowl performance are a testament to what true talent and hard work can achieve. I admire artists who reach the top through their own dedication and perseverance. There's something inspiring about seeing someone earn their place through real effort and talent. Hopefully, one day, you'll get to experience that feeling too. Though I'm doubtful.
