His whole beef with Drake stems from hating.

Now he has had the most success he has ever had. Is there a possibility he doesnt want to give up his current position? Out of spite, out of hate.

I would be quite surprised if he just goes away for a couple. That move doesnt make sense.

If he wanted Drakes position he has to go again... just like Drake been doing for the last 15 years.

even after living through the DAMN. era, i could have never pictured kendrick dominating mainstream music to this degree.

he just popped up out of nowhere, after years of dormancy and assumptions that he was borderline retired, and became the biggest rapper alive 12 years into his run. it's pretty mindblowing.

& the BP album barely had Kendrick on it, he just curated it. closest comparison is probably one of the Young Money albums since Drake hates the OVO artists too much to drop a label compilation.

Scary Hours 2 has 3 songs, not enough for it to chart on the Billboard 200. uu has 8 songs, which is why it charted.

Kendrick is billed as the lead artist on the Black Panther soundtrack. Same way Beyoncè is credited as the lead artist on the Lion King soundtrack.

Drake isn't credited as an artist on the first Young Money compilation album. None of the Young Money acts are. Drake is only credited on 1 song on the second Young Money compilation album.

Scary hours 3 is 6 songs: tacked on to the end of FATD’s 23 song track list. And sold 145k first week
