All the hugest albums with million openings had really huge hits prior.
In Da Club was 50 Cent’s ONLY big hit ever prior to that album dropping. It was one song huge enough to do that

That being said, we talking a singular song. Post Malone has bunch of songs bigger than Taylor Swift with 1/10th the album sales. I have never seen a song be so dominant a year later. I watch sports, I hear it everytime. I go out I hear it everytime.
This song got 5 Grammys, with the only song crowd singing in unison. It;s a theme song for multiple sports teams. This s*** got Kendrick the superbowl.

Only Taylor and Morgan would’ve been higher.
Sabrina and Billie’s first week totals were both right around GNX’s, and that’s including physicals. GNX finished right under them without physicals. I think it’s safe to estimate if GNX was released around the same time as those albums with physicals it would’ve finished higher on the year end
