Man I hate Kendrick more than The Weeknd but this is a crazy take. I don't get how people can possibly agree with it.

Kendrick just doubled Weeknd's last 2 first week stream numbers. Has 2 hits this year that have been bigger than any Weeknd song in over 5 years. This guy has the country on their knees for any new music

This US tour should also blow The Weeknd's out of the water

1. Rap always performs better than Pop does first week. The only pop artist to consistently do crazy first week streaming numbers is Taylor.

2. No it absolutely will not. The box offices are gonna be around the same total since it’s about the same number of shows (Weeknd’s 19 vs. Kendrick’s 21)

1) and sza :p since you think SOS is a pop album! Taylor doing it shows its possible though. So why isn't The Weeknd if he's so big? Doesn't make sense to me. Sabrina also greatly outperformed Weeknd's first week. There's something just wrong there w/ his audience.

2) # of shows isnt that relevant though, as seen by Drake's tour. Kendrikc & SZA could easily charge $150, 200 a ticket, vs Weeknd's $100 average and they'll smoke his stats

Bruno is a global superstar with numerous mega hits to his name and he’s never cleared 250K first week.

I know she's just getting to the bag or whatever but it's such a desperate and distasteful cash / numbers grab l to me. The re-releases, milking her fans of their money with pointless different versions, etc etc. Especially when she does the re-releases or version drops to block other newer artists from 'stealing' her #1 - that s*** is gross
