if drake used physical sales he would do 800k-1m each album after views
No, he wouldn’t
Notice they will say none of these are bottled but not like us is
https://twitter.com/chartdata/status/1863342437357244657Ngl I know Espresso because it was played against my will all the time but no idea what the rest is
I probably do know them but can't tell by title
scorpion , clb and fatd?
Scorpion had physical sales.
CLB and FATD would not clear a million with physicals
they bought 30k pure albums to beat the under 300k allegations
nobody was streaming this s*** after all
200k would be great for a rnb collab album
It would. Honestly, Nevermind did over 200k partly because Jimmy Cooks was a rap song and that's the song that garnered the most streams. Take that song off the album and that album doesn't debut with 200k units.
Of course, yes, it does depend on what kind of songs are on the album but if Drake is doing legit R&B, he won't be aiming for bangers and those are the songs that won't stream well or chart well. It's not being delusional, it's being real. Soon as I heard Honestly, Nevermind for the first time, I gave a projection that it won't do more than 200k lol. Some Drake fans were even attacking me for that projection.
The only Drake project to ever put the full weight of your expectations on is a Drake rap project. Anything else could go either way.

380 million streams btw

379M US streams for 12 songs is impressive.
Since when is 379 almost 400?
Man, congratulations to Kendrick. He fell right within my projections.
95% is definitely within the realm of ‘almost’
Most streamed songs globally*
Damn I thought Not Like Us was the song of the century. It ain't even song of the year

Drake would do massive numbers with some OVO / NOCTA bundles. Also Scorpion did not have physicals that shipped first week
Kendrick did 5k less, Wicked Soundtrack did 9k more than HDD projected. @Deezed weren't you arguing with someone who insisted that HDD projections are always accurate with Billboard's final numbers?
yup, its funny cus i wasnt even giving some crazy unrealistic numbers
i was projecting kenny to do 311k with my own calcullations and they were freaking out about how HDD final projection had him at 325k and that was the "floor" :jordanlaff3:
even gave proof of them literally missing projections someitmes by up to ~20-30k units off (Donda is a key example) and still werent hearing it

He would've done maybe crazy numbers with OVO / NOCTA bundles in 2021 but that time is also over now lol

Kanye gets insane streams off his back catalogue and people claim he's irrelevant. It is what is.

Cut FATD from Drake's discography and he probably still sells the most, his back catalogue is just too big

1. No he would not.
2. The “shipping first week” thing wasn’t a rule in 2018
Breaking news: popular rapper with like 20 projects and over 500 songs sells the most
Niggas really can’t grasp the reality that it’s the back catalog doing all of that work
Breaking news: popular rapper with like 20 projects and over 500 songs sells the most
ya in 2014 he had 20 projects and over 500 songs
Cut FATD from Drake's discography and he probably still sells the most, his back catalogue is just too big
Nobody has to stream those songs
