Drake always going to be in a league of his own sales wise because of the R&B and the rap.

Also, you can’t leave for 5 years in this day and age and expect to stay relevant. Drake stays putting out music, and the roll outs may have been similar but Drake was building hype for CLB for over a year before it dropped. Kendrick took an L by staying gone and having a terrible roll out.

I was trying to tell people that CLB doing 613k was ridiculous. No singles, multiple delays, minimal promo, and in the current climate when everyone's numbers are down with the rules. It was honestly a bigger achievement than him doing 1M with Views in 2016.

I remember no one really realized how insane that number was at the time, but it's becoming clear now when you see what his peers are doing. I don't see a hip-hop album reaching that number again, except Drake again with a crazy rollout.
