These Tuesday Spotify numbers will see if he gets above 300k
pgLang in the kitchen with Spotify cooking something up real quick. First day in months that the chart has been this late.
I don't think he's been affected in any real way. He's still out-streaming every rapper and you've gotta understand that most people who talk s*** about Drake online also listen to him religiously. He's a sure bet to go viral on social media and since people get paid off engagements now, you'll see people going at him just because they know it'll give them virality.
In reality, I have a handful of followers who are Rihanna disciples and who always talk s*** on Drake who went to his last tour and who always have him in their top 5 artists on Spotify Wrapped.
lmao he literally sued saying defamation impacting his finances lol
but unbothered
Even though ~300k is actually pretty decent given the circumstances when you think about it, people fail to realize no matter how much noise Kendrick made last Summer, he also alienated a sect of listeners too.
Pre-beef there were the parasocial Drake fans who actually still bumped Kendrick. I can't tell you how many times I've read super Drake diehards say they aren't even listening to the album as to not support it or saying it's trash before even listening. He gained fans but also lost fans as well.
damn Kendrick really that powerful according to yall to singlehandedly cause procedural delays to a 100 billion dollar company.
That's Taylor Swift level impact

That's cap imo but he's gotta say that for the case to have any sort of validity.

He signed his name next to “everything in this document is true something something perjury”
Are you saying Drake would lie in a lawsuit!? My papi would never lie

For sure he has a massive back catalog and will continue to get play no matter what, it will be interesting to see how his newer releases do after this year.
I will say though that in my eyes his credibility has taken a huge hit in the hip hop space and imo, kinda unprecedented to lawyer up after starting the personal attacks. Does it end up affecting the streams? I would guess probably not too much because the pop side and people that don’t really care about drama will continue to play.

Drake literally filed legal documents saying it did irreversible damage to his reputation, business, financial status and overall well being.

Yes, because you can't make a case for defamation without saying that you've sustained damage lmao.
Can they hurry up and give tv off the #1 @spotify
Numbers are still getting cooked. Gotta wait for it.

I guess we'll just have to see what happens.
@superstar is predicting this one of the reasons you said the west won’t come back until redacted rapper/singer drops?

I think certain things are definitely being exaggerated so he can make his case. None of his brands and businesses have stopped operating as usual. He's about to go on tour in February and plans on dropping an album with PARTYNEXTDOOR next year. If he truly felt his image had been destroyed in a real way, he wouldn't be making any of those moves out of fear of falling on his face and he'd have filed these documents months ago.

Exactly. The west needs a fresh face with exciting and ubiquitous music influenced by the sound but not directly tied to it or the politics involved, to do consistently well in order for me to say the west coast is back. A few more new artists like that would help too like what happened with Atlanta

He’s not lying. You can see it in his face. Your boy aged 10 years since the beef popped off.

That user is mentally ill, the countless flops drake released this year don't count apparently
cope. its dog s*** numbers for an artist who just supposedly had a bigger year than drake
he just did Mr Morale numbers, on a year like this.
2 factors that COULDA HAVE caused this let down:
1. Single/diss songs were actually botted and the streams didnt equal real demand
OR
2. The album was a let down and NEUTRAL fans didnt even bother listening to it.
"supposedly"
What did Drake even drop this year that's touching NLU or GNX?
they know what they doing for the engagement
