The same bundles y'all are using to cope as why Kendrick's numbers aren't higher? Tyler moved over 150k units in physicals within a week of announcing his album. Kendrick ain't doing that.
This is also Tyler's best performing album ever, outside of its debut week. He's elevated commercially from his last album, Kendrick peaked with DAMN and took a dip ever since.
Idk what you’re trying to say here but I agree Kendrick would NOT push 150k bundles. He don’t got fans like that. Tyler does. Props to him he earned that s***
But you’re stiring a narrative Chromakopia performing better streaming than GNX. It is performing amazing and you are celebrating that but fail to acknowledge GNX right now is performing better than that did stream wise.
Remember that one K-pop pop nigga got hit in the head with a tv on stage lol I felt bad af
Can't say I remember that
Gonna be real. Let’s say a scenario Drake did bundles. I don’t even think he could hit that 150k number Tyler did
s***s genuinely impressive
Oh brother.
So you'd rather have Kendrick release bundles to sell around 450k, so Kendrick stans can clown Drake stans for eternity? Because in the end nobody cares if its done with bundles or not, if you can create a narrative it will get pushed

This is my point:
Tyler has elevated with every album, both critically and commercially. There was a time when that was Kendrick. Chromakopia is Tyler's best performing album yet and he didn't even release it the right way to get the best debut week. Meaning that his next album might even be bigger because he has a rabid fanbase that might move 200-250k pure sales for him first week.
Like you agreed, Kendrick ain't doing that. As for the streaming end of things, this is Kendrick's third album to debut with less than 350M US streams. That's clearly his ceiling. All in all, it's not a bad ceiling but he isn't getting any bigger commercially as an artist, is what I'm saying.

is it though? its performing almost identically in the US Last time i looked
Kendrick also has a pure hip hop audience while Drake is a crossover artist. Kendrick can sometimes get a crossover hit like Humble or NLU but his audience stays purely rap. There is a limit on how much you can sell by being just hip hop. Nowadays that limit seems to be around 350k. Drake got white women listening to him and other important demographics, Kendrick can never touch.
If he sold bundles and sold 500k, would that make any difference? These numbers are just for narrative building nothing else
this is a big reason drake's numbers are down in the last few years imo, he doesn't drop anywhere near as much "pop" or even "pop rap" as he used to
This is not true. GNX’s first four days had a higher stream total than Chromakopia’s
its almost identical in the US
Y’all are either deluded or simply don’t have the foresight to see how poorly Drake’s next album is going to do
people have been saying this since 2018 lmaooo
ever since 2017/2018
Drake's apparently gonna sell less than normal next album
Kendrick's gonna sell more than normal next album
#1 kinda became true finally with FATD, after 6 years
#2 has never become true lol
Aight this is satire
there's literally posts from you this summer in this thread saying those Trav numbers are all legitimate bro
Thank you.
In 2024, these are incredible numbers.
These stupid f***s keep bringing up a 2021 J. Cole album and completely ignoring the massive flop surprise release he dropped this year
incredible numbers which are also hit by Tyler the creator, without all the industry sucking his cock like they have for Kendrick
makes no sense
you either admit these are meh numbers, or admit that having a huge hit like NLU/winning beef did nothing for Kendrick's career

These are double Tyler’s streaming numbers
Tyler had 142k pure sales. This is a streaming only release. Y’all just keep recycling the same false narrative over and over.

Also kendrick is about to take over the top 10 while tyler barely got 1

not double. He outstreamed him by 125M streams but Tyler only had 4 days of tracking…
I hate to give into the spreadsheet stereotype but since @fader and @Kr0niic are accusing me of lying about Chromakopia out streaming GNX so here's both of their Spotify numbers as proof.

Oh dear
Spreadsheets
Y’all are either deluded or simply don’t have the foresight to see how poorly Drake’s next album is going to do
if there’s one time that he needs to do an actual rollout it’s this time
but who knows what the label will do for him now lol
With all this number talk can someone explain why Taylor swift’s last album had a 80% drop and no one cared?

she 100% cooked her streaming numbers
nearly 900M streams first week without a smash hit? the autoplays must’ve went crazy
