Scary Hours 2 and Scary Hours 3 are the same thing?
i just told u it is impossible to get scary hours 3 numbers due to it being attached as a deluxe to FATD
i gave the user the next best possible answer to his question by giving him scary hours 2 numbers
u, external to the convo, are salty for who knows what reason as this convo wasnt with u at all and u decided to jump in
hmmmmm
DLDT was a mixtape that dropped in the middle of the pandemic and did 223k. Everyone called it a flop. Honestly, Nevermind is a f***ing dance album and also did above 200k. It was also called a flop.
Kendrick just spent the entire year being labelled the new #1 rapper in the world. He scored multiple hits that gave him a ton of visibility and good press and people were fully expecting a new album from him anytime soon. He drops and might not even outdo J. Cole's last proper album. Yeah, that's very notable because in May, you couldn't convince any Kendrick fan that his next album wouldn't be his biggest album.
We should not fail to mention that this is also the most palatable Kendrick project since DAMN. This is not unlistenable Mr Morale. This is not a concept album. This is just pure rap music made for the masses.

They are two totally separate projects released almost three years apart when the artist was at totally different levels of popularity

it's very interesting
clear trend of music that people get tired of playing after 1-2 days...
The sales thread has been nothing but a battleground for Drake and Kendrick stans
even in years they don’t drop
Literally hasn’t changed since 2017 on KTT1.
Her Loss - 513 million
GNX - 325 million
can someone explain how her loss (announce 2 weeks before it came out)
did 200 million more streams with only 4 extra songs
run it back
this was peak ktt1, i posted this s*** atleast 50 times to laugh at the kbots
in all seriousness i hope this gives drake the confidence to come back out the house
selling under 400K ain't the end of the world

It’s almost like peak popularity Drake is bigger than any rapper ever
And nobody has ever denied this

For All the Dogs out now
He’s probably the biggest rapper right now. I wonder how long he can sustain it though
he definitely is. and not too far below him is travis. then future tyler, drake and cole on the tier below. this year was an insane shakeup for rap
-kendrick doing fanfic scenarios irl
-earl getting a viral hit
-future breaking taylor swift’s records
-kanye fizzling out
-tyler hitting pop star status
-drake imploding and hopefully rebuilding
-thug free
-white casuals switching to country
-MIKE having 2m monthly listeners
and so much more
i’m so excited for what the rest of the decade looks like. i think we’ll be seeing some new faces next year also
