Every “traditional” Drake album post-Views has decreased by at least 129K in first week sales
Views -> Scorpion: 308K drop
Scorpion -> Certified Lover Boy: 129K drop
Certified Lover Boy -> For All the Dogs: 201K drop
Its safe to assume that his next album will have a similar drop
lol i know u both got ur lil beef vs eachother baiting eachother
but to be fair any big artist would be seeing decreases in sales from pure sale -> streaming era (EVEN KENDRICK HENCE THE DROP FROM DAMN TO MR MORALE)
a better way to look at it is using first week streaming numbers:
Views - 245 million - > More Life - 384 million
More Life - 384 million - > Scorpion - 745 million
Scorpion - 745 million - > Certified Lover Boy - 743 million
Certified Lover Boy - 743 million -> Her Loss - 513 million
Her Loss - 513 million - > For All the Dogs - 514 million
first sign of decline in the streaming era was clearly her loss/FATD period, now if we wanted to be unbiased we can simply look at this chart to tell us that hiphop in general has declined ~50% in the past 4 years since 2020 in terms of streams:a

The Rubik's Cube has been solved faster and faster every year since it came out and it won't be long until they can solve it in negative time enabling people to travel backwards in time using the Rubik's Cube
How am I being racist towards Tyler by bigging up another black artist
Every time you white people try to do that reverse racism s*** y’all always sound stupid as f***
First three days “identical” but Kendrick is projected to debut with 140 million more streams
140m more streams from 3 more days, wow what a shock

CLB streaming drop to FATD was huge tbh, but it's rather silly that he thinks that'll happen again with the next album.
you could be right that it's due to rap's decline, however other rappers haven't seen that much of a decline, but at the same time no other rapper was doing close to what Drake was doing w Scorpion/CLB etc
it's almost like he still has all the rap fans, but the casuals aren't in his hands anymore
Just completely (or conveniently) forgets about the 50 vs Ye battle
All of Drake’s highest streamed albums are the ones with 20+ tracks, the numbers are right there
It’s not a coincidence
You mean the ones in the streaming era are his highest streamed? Again the streams are not evenly distributed the length has very little to do with the overall streams years later.

I agree, i definitely think from CLB - > FATD, fans were dissapointed with how much r&b was on FATD, it was basically an r&b album with like 3-4 rap tracks, so if u didnt like r&b drake then u werent spinning it again tbh0
especiallly coming off her loss
it reminds me of iyrtitll/wattba era going into views and views being all r&b and dancehall
Somebody skipped history class
throughout history, Europeans moved from country to country raping people & spreading diseases, then claiming other cultures’ innovations as their own
looks like you took everything in history textbooks (made by europeans) at face value & used no critical thinking skills of your own when presented with any information in those books
opened a thread titled"
Billboard 200: Ateez 184k, Linkin Park 97k, Tyler, the Creator 81k, Jin 77k, Sabrina Carpenter 72k, Rauw Alejandro 67k
then wrote a comment about why people are talking about sales numbers
on a monday btw
Praying for you man ❤️

Almost impossible to state just how much better r/boxoffice is than this place despite being nearly the exact same concept and content
It just seems silly to me to clown Drake for his streaming numbers and album sales when he still outsells anyone not named Taylor Swift idk
Damn massive flop for the supposed biggest rap artist in the world
Straight to the bin classic
2pac started it
hov was the first to s*** on rappers first week sales
50 cent took it to new heights
drake made chart watching a fan activity
All of Drake’s highest selling projects are 20+ tracks bloated snooze fests
COPIUM
The President of the United States in 2010 was George Bush? You're f***ing stupid.
