Expertyou gotta be trolling, no way you can be this delusional. Kendrick fans never cared about critical reception? Not saying it's good or bad but Kendrick fans in general have cared about that s*** more than sales for his whole career.
We literally got people with metacritic scores as avys here. All the decade best lists get so much hype from his fans.
And #1 in rap does require critical/cultural acclaim. There is a reason guys like Rakim/Nas are still near the top of the list while not even being top 20-30 most successful rappers. Commercial success is one of the factors, there is more to it. Maybe not to casuals who dont love the genre and are just spectators.

One of the main reasons Drake is as dominant on streaming as he is, is because he regularly drops bloated ass 20+ songs album that inflate stream numbers.
Literally all of his highest streamed projects are at least 20 songs.
Not really. This is assuming the streams are evenly distributed which they are not.
