If she wasn’t a Disney star, she wouldn’t have been financially able to continue to pursue music because I guarantee she was making absolutely no money off of it.
I never said streaming makes it impossible for artists to blow up.
I said that unless you blow up and cross that threshold, you are going to be making literal pennies from streaming. There is no middle ground whatsoever

Yes because the contracts were f***ed, but it’s simple math and common sense to see how an artist can make more money off of lower pure sales than they’re able to do off of lower streams
